As a Research Analyst with PMG, you will play a vital role in supporting consulting engagements by conducting primary and secondary research across multiple industries. You will gather, clean, and synthesize data from internal and external sources, perform competitive analysis and industry benchmarking, and create data visualizations and dashboards for internal and client use. You will maintain research databases and knowledge repositories, collaborate with consultants to define research hypotheses and scope, and summarize findings into clear, actionable insights for project teams. This role is ideal for an analytical thinker with strong attention to detail who enjoys turning raw data into meaningful business intelligence.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Social Sciences, or related field

• Conduct primary and secondary research to support consulting engagements across industries
• Gather, clean, and synthesize data from internal and external sources (e.g., market reports, financial statements, surveys)
• Perform competitive analysis and industry benchmarking to inform client recommendations
• Create data visualizations, dashboards, and slide decks for internal and client use
• Maintain research databases and knowledge repositories
• Collaborate with consultants to define research hypotheses and scope
• Summarize findings into clear, actionable insights for project teams.

• 1–3 years of experience in research, data analysis, or consulting support roles
• Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines
• Familiarity with business databases (e.g., Capital IQ, IBISWorld, Statista) is a plus
• Intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
